Oakland Avenue Reconstruction

Week of March 2

• Northbound Oakland Avenue between Capitol Drive and Olive Street remains closed for water main replacement
  
  • Northbound motorists are encouraged to use Capitol Drive, Barlett Avenue and Olive Street to get around the closure  
  • Southbound Oakland Avenue will remain open during this work  
  • Northbound Milwaukee County Transit Green Line service will be rerouted using Capitol Drive, Lake Drive (WIS 32) and Hampton Road. See RideMCTS.com/GreenLine for route changes and information
• Sidewalk closures on the west side of Oakland Avenue and on Elmdale Court are scheduled for WE Energies natural gas line replacements

Long-Term Closures

Access to and from Oakland Avenue from the east is closed until mid-summer at:

• Kenmore Place
• Jarvis Street
• Wood Place
• Olive Street
• Marion Street
• Lake Bluff Boulevard
• Kensington Boulevard
